Arabs prepare to march on Israel's borders
http://www.israeltoday.co.il/tabid/178/nid/22813/language/en-US/Default.aspx

The Israeli army this week was busy readying itself for the next pan-Arab assault on Israel's borders, scheduled for Sunday.
Two weeks ago, Arabs from Lebanon, Syria and Gaza marched on Israel's borders in an effort to infiltrate the Jewish state en masse. They were marking Nakba Day - the Day of Catastrophe when Israel was reborn as a nation-state.
The Nakba Day demonstrations saw at least 100 Syrians cross into the Golan Heights, where many clashed with Israeli soldiers.
The upcoming demonstration will mark "Naksa Day" - the Day of the Setback, the anniversary of the start of the Six Day War in 1967. Demonstrations are planned for Sunday and Tuesday. Sunday, which is the actual anniversary of the war, is expected to see the largest confrontations.
Israeli forces are determined that there will be no border breaches this time, but that the Arabs will also not score a public relations victory by baiting the IDF into killing demonstrators.
Israeli soldiers have been ordered to first shout for the demonstrators to halt if they approach the border. If the demonstrators continue to advance, the Israelis will fire warning shots in the air. If that doesn't work, the soldiers are authorized to direct non-lethal fire at the demonstrators' lower extremities.
Reports out of Lebanon suggest that some 100,000 may participate in Sunday's march. But the Lebanese army has also suggested it will not allow any of them to reach the border.

Hey, Another “Moderate” American Muslim Homicide Bomber
http://www.debbieschlussel.com/38099/hey-another-moderate-american-muslim-becomes-homicide-bomber/
By Debbie Schlussel
I’ve written before about Somalian American Muslims who’ve disappeared, only to become homicide bombers for Al-Qaeda affiliate, Al-Shabaab, back in Somalia. Many, including Shirwa Ahmed were recruited by their Minneapolis-St. Paul area imam to become Islamic terrorists. The Imam/Islamic terrorist recruiter, Abdirahman Ahmed of the Abubakar As-Saddique Islamic Center, was defended as a good guy by faux-moderate Muslim Mohammed Zuhdi Jasser. Now there’s yet another “moderate” American Muslim, Abdullahi Ahmed, who blew up the African Union on Monday, killing three. But Muslims exposed to American culture would never do such a thing, right?
Abdullahi Ahmed a/k/a Cabdulaahi Ahmed Faarax, Al-Qaeda Homicide Bomber From Bloomington, MN
Oh, and get this: Ahmed had two different names/identities. Shocker. As I’ve noted repeatedly on this site, when these immigrants come to this country, we have no way of knowing who they are–what their real names are, whether or not they are terrorist, and why they are coming here. We have no way of checking.
They can make up a name, and we just take them at their word, which is why we often get malefactors like this terrorist coming into the U.S. legally or being born to parents who come here legally with the same ill intentions and phony identities.
Nothing . . . just as we’ve been doing since 9/11. Nothing. And that’s why we’re doomed. America . . . Desperate But Not Serious.

A man who blew himself up in a suicide bombing in Somalia this week was a Twin Cities man under indictment for aiding terrorists, an official with that country’s U.N. mission said Thursday.
The attack in the capital of Mogadishu on Monday, which killed three African Union soldiers, was carried out by Abdullahi Ahmed, 25, of Minneapolis, according to the website of al-Shabaab, the group that claimed responsibility for the bombing.
Omar Jamal, first secretary of the Somali mission to the U.N., said the man was actually named Cabdulaahi Ahmed Faarax, 34, of Bloomington, who was among a group of men indicted last year for conspiracy to aid al-Shabaab, a group the U.S. State Department says engages in terrorism and is linked to al-Qaida.
“They are the same person,” Jamal said Thursday at a news conference in St. Paul. He said that for many Somali parents in the Twin Cities, the bombing raised the specter that their children would be drawn to fight overseas.
“Young kids are still lured from Minneapolis, the United States, Europe, back into harm’s way in Somalia,” he said.
U.S. officials could not or would not confirm that Ahmed and Faarax are the same. Special Agent Steve Warfield, spokesman for the FBI’s Minneapolis office, said investigators didn’t yet know the bomber’s identity.
“It’s all speculation at this point who this guy was,” he said.Soooooo typical. We all know this is already a fact, but Famous But Incompetent is always the last to admit it.
Jamal was sure the two men were the same. He said that in Somali culture, it is not unusual to leave off the last name. Also, he said the men had the same first name, and that the apparent differences – “Abdullahi” vs. “Cabdulaahi” – stemmed from how the name is translated from its Somali spelling (which starts with a “C”) and its English spelling.
Jamal also said the discrepancy in age between the two wasn’t troubling because many Somalis don’t know the date or even year they were born. “We don’t pay much attention to the age,” he said.Yes, and they always use these discrepancies for multiple identities in the U.S. and immigration benefits.
Before taking his post at the U.N., Jamal was director of the Somali Justice Advocacy Center in St. Paul and was, at times, the target of criticism from some in the local Somali community who felt he did not represent their views. He said that he met Ahmed years ago and that the man drove a taxi and had been in the U.S. for about nine years.
He described Ahmed as “very, very, very religious and very committed” to his beliefs.
“We debated several times. He thought I was misguided” about Somalia, Jamal said.
He insisted he was sure Ahmed and Faarax were the same man.
“All we have is the press release, information from Somalia and Kenya and the (audio) tape,” he said. “Combine all these things together and it’s the same guy.”
Faarax is a fugitive, as are nine of the 17 other men and two women who have been charged in the exodus of young Somali men from the Twin Cities.
The FBI says each played a role in an effort to recruit, fund or help Somali-Americans to return to Africa and fight for al-Shabaab.
The Twin Cities has this country’s largest concentration Somali immigrants.
The FBI believes that 20 or more Somali-Americans left the Twin Cities to fight for al-Shabaab, which seeks to defeat a U.N.-backed transitional government set up after a coup threw the East African nation into chaos. . .
The man federal officials call Faarax was one of 10 men named in an indictment last July that accused them of conspiracy, aiding and abetting, providing material support to a foreign terrorist organization.
He was identified as the driver of a car that was stopped by Nevada state troopers in October 2009. When the troopers discovered Faarax was on a terrorist watch list, they contacted the FBI, who told the troopers that unless there was evidence of illegal activity, they should allow the men to go.
Federal prosecutors claim that two days later, in San Diego, Faarax and two other men crossed the border into Mexico. Their final destination was Somalia, according to federal indictments, criminal complaints and other court filings. The question is: how many thousands more Faaraxes are there in our midst, and when they start bombing here instead of there, what–if anything–will we do about it?
Nothing . . . just as we’ve been doing since 9/11. Nothing. And that’s why we’re doomed. America . . . Desperate But Not Serious.
US Concerned Over Syrian Internet Cut
http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/Flash.aspx/212116
The United States expressed “deep concern” over Syria's cutting of the internet over the weekend. The Syrian government blocked internet access to at least two thirds of the country on Saturday, apparently in the hope that protesters demanding the resignation of Bashar al-Assad would not be able to use social media sites to organize protests.
“We condemn any effort to suppress the Syrian people's exercise of their rights to free expression, assembly, and association,' U.S. Secretary of State Hilary Clinton said in a statement. “The Syrian government must understand that attempting to silence its population cannot prevent the transition currently taking place. We believe that even in the face of significant obstacles, the Syrian people will -- and should -- find a way to make their voices heard,” she added.

Pakistan: Deadly bomb kills six near Peshawar
At least six people have been killed in a bomb blast outside the north-western Pakistani city of Peshawar, police say.
Matani is close to Pakistan's lawless tribal regions and the Afghan border.
It is not clear who carried out the attack but Pakistan has been battling Islamist militants and its own version of the Taliban.
At least 10 people were wounded in the attack in Matani.
It is the latest violence in Pakistan since the US special forces raid last month that killed al-Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden in the north of the country.
It comes a day after reports that a top al-Qaeda operative, Ilyas Kashmiri, was killed in a US drone strike in the tribal region of South Waziristan.
Since Bin Laden was killed, a paramilitary academy, a naval base, government buildings, a police station and a US consulate convoy have been attacked.

Threatened by New “Palestinian” Detroit Pistons Owner Tewfiq “Tom” Gores
By Debbie Schlussel
In early April, I told you about Tewfiq “Tom” Gores, the Israeli/Lebanese/”Palestinian” half-Arab/half-Greek/wholly cheesy billionaire who was buying the Detroit Pistons and its parent company, Palace Sports and Entertainment–Michigan’s largest sports and entertainment conglomerate–from the family of the late William Davidson. I told you about Gores’ anti-Israel, anti-Semitic, pro-HAMAS relatives who incorrectly identify themselves as “Palestinians” and some of whom are mobster thugs in organized crime in Flint, Michigan. This week, the NBA approved Gores as Pistons owner and the transfer was completed to much hype. But I’m concerned about unsolicited contact and threatening phone calls from people allegedly representing Gores and his friends.

Sleazy Lawyer Keith Sirlin Threatened Me on Behalf of New Pistons Owner Tewfiq Tom Gores & His Friends
Not long after I wrote the piece and just a few hours before the holiday of Passover was about to start on Monday, April 18th, I received a threatening phone call, allegedly on behalf of Gores and his friends from a Detroit area attorney, Keith Sirlin, a sleazy looking guy who does criminal defense and bankruptcies. Mr. Sirlin threatened me and told me that he had Tom Gores’ best friend Wade Mc-Something-or-other from Flint, whom he said was sitting next to him in his office listening to the call. He told me he was calling on behalf of Tom Gores and his friends and that I had better remove my post about Gores. He lectured me, “People of our religion [Sirlin is nominally Jewish] never write things like that. We don’t do that.”
I don’t know Keith Sirlin. His call was unsolicited and frightening. I felt threatened. And I doubt it was out of the blue. No one operates in a vacuum. And neither does Tewfiq Tom Gores. His “Uncle Tom” Joubran is the mob godfather in Flint, according to testimony before a U.S. Senate Committee in the 1980s, as I noted on this site. And “Uncle Tom” is the one who sponsored Gores’ immigration to the U.S. and mentored him in business.
As I’ve noted, the late William Davidson donated to my campaign both times I ran for the Michigan House of Representatives. He was a proud, pro-Israel, Republican Jewish businessman. He ran his business with hard work, not mobster threats and organized crime. He is turning over in his grave at the man who has since taken over his beloved basketball team and entertainment empire.
I will not be coerced by Tom Gores and his thugs. Frankly, he and his entourage–they look like the male, “Palestinian” cheesy version of “Charlie’s Angels,” or the idiot characters in “Saturday Night Live,” complete with tacky ’70s-look suits and chest hair.
But Gores’ Tony Montana-wannabe wardrobe, heavage, and not-so-veiled threats using a Jewish lawyer thug won’t stop me from writing what I want on this site.
Sorry, Keith and Tewfiq, I’m no Luca Brasi. It’s your reputations–not me–who will sleep with the fishes.

What do you mean ‘we never?’ If you were a good Jew, you’d know not to call me just a few hours before Passover with your absurd threats. Who told you to call me? Tell me again what the name of your client, Tom Gores’ friend is?”
Keith Sirlin: “That’s not important. What’s important is that you remove what you wrote about Tom Gores.”
Me: “Um, is that a threat? Either you tell me the last name and correct spelling of Tom Gores’ thug friend who is your client, or I’m hanging up in 4 seconds. 4-3- . . . .”Sirlin kept refusing to name the guy, imploring me that I “must” remove my article on Tewfiq Tom Gores, and trying to get me to stay on the phone. I told him unless he named the guy I was hanging up. And I did. Click.

Lebanese army won’t allow a repeat of the al Nakba day, report
http://www.yalibnan.com/2011/06/02/lebanese-army-wont-allow-a-repeat-of-the-al-nakba-day-report/

May 15 was the al Nakba day and June 5 is
the al Naksa day.
Fatah leader in Lebanon Munir Maqdah said on Wednesday that all Palestinians including Fatah and Hamas groups will take part in the Naksa Day rally scheduled for June 5.
“All Palestinian factions will participate in the event, including institutions from Lebanon’s civil society.”
He told the Central News Agency.
“The May 15 clashes are a ball of fire that will keep on growing until it burns the occupier until the Palestinians are granted their right to return to their homeland,” he added.
Palestinian sources told the news agency that the demonstrators are planning on marching to the Lebanese-Israeli border on June 5, where they will set up tents at Maroun al-Ras and at the Khiyam prison.
They added that preparations and contacts are underway with Lebanese authorities, Hezbollah, and other parties in order to stage Sunday’s rally.
Ten protesters were killed and 112 were wounded in a shooting incident at the Lebanese-Israeli border where Palestinians were demonstrating on Sunday May 15 , security sources said.
June 5 marks the Naksa day the day of defeat . It is the day when the Arab armies were defeated by Israeli in the 1967 six day war . Syria lost the Golan Heights, the Palestinians lost the west bank and Gaza and Egypt lost the Sinai desert.
Security sources told Kuwaiti newspaper al Anbaa that the Lebanese army won’t allow a repeat of the al Nakba day protests that took place in Maroun al Rass. The sources stressed that the army will not allow Israel any more excuses for more killings
One source told the daily that the army recently succeeded in foiling an attempt to fire a rocket towards Israel … the person was detained just before firing the rocket.
