Denmark: Non-Muslim convicted for comments on Islam…in his own home

The International Free Press Society has the bad news for Lars Hedegaard and all freedom lovers, SHAME ON DENMARK! Lars Hedegaard found guilty of hate speech.

Lars Hedegaard was today found guilty of hate speech under Article 266b of the Danish penal code.  The background is a good 35 minutes long interview to the site snaphanen.dk which Hedegaard gave in December 2009.

Here Hedegaard said, among other things, that “girls in Muslim families are raped by their uncles, their cousins or their dad.”

Lars Hedegaard has previously expressed regret if his statements gave the impression that he would accuse all Muslims of abusing their children.

The day after the interview he stressed that his opinions were about Islam and not Muslims.

In January Hedegaard was acquitted of racist statements in the lower court of Frederiksberg. The court believed that his statements were insulting, but the case was dismissed because he did not know that the interview, which took place during a Christmas lunch, would be published.

Argentina state tv to air Islamic dawah to convert non-Muslims

Sharia creeping in Argentina, via PropagandaPressTV – Argentina to air Islamic program.

The Islamic Center of Argentina (CIPAL) will start airing a program on the country’s state television to introduce Islam to non-Muslim communities.

“This is a historical time for us because it is the first time that an Islamic entity in Argentina has its own program on state television,” CIPAL Press Manager Erica Sanchez Vitale told Press TV.

“This speaks of equal terms and opportunities for all religions in Argentina.”

The Quill and the Message will go on air every Sunday as of May 8, 2011, presenting reports, interviews, news and short courses and programs about the Holy Qur’an.

Muslim Leaders Want Imam Arrested Over Al-Shabaab Link

Unfortunately this is not in the U.S., and Muslims aren’t turning in jihad-preaching imams in the U.S. or demanding that terror-linked Muslim groups like CAIR be put out of business. Islamic religious leaders have made fresh calls for the immediate arrest and detainment of an Imam accused of recruiting youth into al-Shabaab. Masjid Musa’s Imam Aboud Rogo is out on bond.

The clerics have accused the Judiciary of contributing to the recruitment of Kenyan youths to Al-Shabaab by giving bonds to ‘criminals’. “We know who has been recruiting youths into the militia, but we see him on the streets everyday. We fear that more youths will be killed in Somalia if no action is taken,” said Sheikh Hassan Omar of the Council of Imams and Preachers of Kenya. Late last year, chaos erupted after anti-Rogo youths threatened to forcibly oust him from the mosque.

Mister President, members of the Court. I recently tried to have Your Honors removed from the case for your refusal to register a statement of perjury against Mr. Hendriks. My challenge of the court did not succeed. I must accept that. I do wish to say, however, that I was more annoyed by another declaration of the President of the Court on the day of the official hearing of Mr. Jansen.

He said that I was a free man, that I could not be compared toMr. Nekschot because I was a free man. Mister President, you could not be more wrong. For almost seven years now, I have not been a free man. I lost my freedom in 2004. I live as a prisoner with guards without you having convicted me. Without protection I am even less certain of my life than I am now.Mister President, you would not use the words “free man” if you could change places with me for one week.

Mister President, members of the court, I am here as a suspect again today. I have said so before: This penal case is a political trial. An attempt is being made here to silence a politician who speaks on behalf of one and a half million people and who already pays a heavy price for that every single day. Formally, only I stand on trial here, but in practice the freedom of speech of millions of Dutchmen is on trial. This trial is not merely a political trial. It is also an unjust trial. When you look at the order of the court (to prosecute me) it is clear that the verdict has already been passed. The court has issued an order to prosecute me in which it concludes that I am guilty of incitement to hatred. The court has concluded that my statements as such are of an insulting nature. The court has concluded that I am guilty of the most serious charge: the incitement to hatred and discrimination. The court has concluded that it expects that the criminal prosecution will indeed lead to a conviction. Mister President, members of the court, the court has already done your job. Long before I was brought to trial before you, I was found guilty and was condemned. Hence my right to a just trial has been violated.

Three Convicted in Terror-Related Cases Granted U.S. Citizenship

Three people convicted of crimes as a result of a terrorism-related investigation by the Department of Justice (DOJ) were later naturalized as U.S. citizens by the Obama administration, according to federal auditors.

The March 2011 audit (released on April 21, 2011) by the Government Accountability Office (GAO), entitled Criminal Alien Statistics: Information on Incarcerations, Arrests and Costs, shows that three individuals were among “defendants where the investigation involved an identified link to international terrorism but they were charged with violating other statutes [not directly related to terrorism], including fraud, immigration, drugs, false statements, and general conspiracy charges,” referred by DOJ as Category II terrorism-related cases.

The three individuals in question can be found in a DOJ list of unsealed terrorism-related investigations conducted from Sept. 11, 2001 through Mar. 18, 2010. There are 403 defendants on that list of which, according to the GAO, at least 43 percent were aliens–both legal (26 percent) and illegal (17 percent)–at the time they were charged with crimes.

U.S. attorney in Ohio shills for Islam in op-ed

Yes, just two days ago we posted on a U.S. attorney, a Muslim, who told Muslims in Missouri the DOJ would challenge anti-sharia laws if passed. Now we have another U.S. attorney, essentially scolding Americans, defending Islam.

If U.S. attorney’s and the DOJ (Department of Jihad) would indict terror-linked Muslim groups like CAIR and ISNA rather than partnering with them, and writing op-eds, the U.S. would be much safer. via Ohio’s Muslim, Arab neighbors: Steven M. Dettelbach | cleveland.com.

Those of us in law enforcement know all too well that terrorists continue to target the United States. We have seen the dangerous consequences take hold in places like Fort Hood, Texas, and Times Square in New York, and even reach here in Ohio, where our office and the FBI prosecuted a homegrown terror cell plotting to kill Americans abroad. Preventing these kinds of attacks is our top priority.

Our enemies seek not only to kill our citizens and destroy our cities, they also want to attack the most fundamental American principle of all — our free, open and diverse society. We cannot and will not let them succeed.

“Religion of Breaching the Peace” at it again. Peacefully chanting “fuck you, fuck you,” until they decide to bum-rush the show and attack Pastor Terry Jones. If the police weren’t there we can presume what would have happened. A veritable sharia-enforced no-go zone.

DEARBORN, Mich. — Florida pastor Terry Jones was outside Dearborn’s City Hall for his planned 5 p.m. protest, drawing a crowd of hundreds.

“We’re glad to be back,” he told reporters. “We’re going to talk about a number of issues. Of course Sharia, jihad, what happened last week and we’re even going to be talking about president Obama’s reelection.”

Counter-protesters lined Michigan Avenue across the street from City Hall. About an hour into the protest, the crowds broke the barricades and a police line. They rushed the street but were quickly contained by riot police crews.

…the DOJ has been responsible for scuttling other terror-related investigations — according to congressional investigators looking at the possible political motivations for dropping prosecutions of American Islamic leaders for terrorism support.

According to these congressional sources, one case that was scuttled by Assistant Attorney General David Kris (who wrote the memo declining to prosecute Omar Ahmad in the Holy Land Foundation case) was a tax evasion and money laundering prosecution prepared by the U.S. attorney’s office in the eastern district of Virginia. The targets of these indictments would have been several Muslim leaders of the International Institute of Islamic Thought (IIIT) and the now-defunct SAAR Foundation/SAFA Group, who were investigated and raided for a wide range of activities to support foreign terrorist organizations.

CAIR-PA invited Johari Abdul-Malik to deliver one of the evening’s main addresses. Abdul-Malik works at the Dar al-Hijrah Islamic Center, which has the distinction of being the former base for an unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing and for Anwar al-Awlaki, mentor to Fort Hood murderer Nidal Malik Hasan and underwear bomber Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab

U.S. attorney general Eric Holder has finally confirmed that Justice Department headquarters intervened to quash the prosecution of a top official of CAIR — the Council on American-Islamic Relations. The attorney general did not identify the CAIR official by name, although, at Pajamas Media, Patrick Poole reports that he is Omar Ahmad — who was in attendance at a 1993 meeting of what the FBI described as Hamas leaders, and who later founded CAIR, an Islamist organization designated by prosecutors as an unindicted coconspirator in a Hamas financing scheme.

(In the just released report by Steve Emerson’s Investigative Project on Terrorism, “The Case Against Omar Ahmad,” IPT notes that Ahmad actually “planned, convened and moderated an October 1993 meeting of the Palestine Committee [a Muslim Brotherhood front] in Philadelphia where members discussed ways to ‘derail’ a U.S.-led peace agreement between the Israelis and Palestinians. The group knew that their Hamas support was problematic. They agreed to reference the group as sister ‘Samah’ [Hamas spelled backward] and warned each other that the U.S. had just proposed legislation that would designate Hamas as a terror organization.”)
