Hamas Riding a ‘New Wind’ from Egypt

Hamas' growing support from the new Egypt has the terror group feeling reinvigorated.

May 14, 2011 - 12:00 am - by Sami al-Abasi
Hamas is hailing the “new wind” blowing from its Egyptian neighbors, one that is strengthening the position of the terrorist group in the international arena. With bold words and actions, Hamas is celebrating the end of its international isolation and new Egyptian involvement. Says Hamas political head Khaled Meshaal, in an article for Egyptian daily Al-Ahram:
Egypt is dealing in a “new wind” with Hamas, because its responsibility now is different after the revolution. … We are looking to Egypt now, hoping that Egypt is prepared to face the Zionist danger at the strategic level.
The “new wind” is evident in Egypt’s diplomatic strategy. After brokering the reconciliation between the two major Palestinian parties, Fatah and Hamas, Egypt has encouraged the United States to support the unilateral declaration of a Palestinian state.

The Egyptian government and Hamas are also raising diplomatic ties to a whole new level. From reporting in the English-language edition of Egypt’s most popular paper:
The Gaza government’s minister of foreign affairs and planning, Mohamed Awad, has said that the Egyptian government is looking into soon reopening its office of representation in the Strip.
There are rumors of Hamas doing the same in Egypt.

Hamas has been active on the diplomatic scene as well. The group has received over $30 million for reconstructing Gaza, pledged to continue kidnapping Israeli soldiers, and has given Israel a one-year ultimatum to accept a Palestinian state on its terms. It has also refused to ever recognize or negotiate with Israel, and has “the right to resistance” — a euphemism for terror.

It also denounced the American assassination of Osama bin Laden. Meshaal told French news agency France 24:
Concerning bin Laden everyone knows Hamas has differences from al-Qaeda … especially (its) operations targeting civilians, but all this doesn’t give the U.S. the right to kill as they please without any regard for the law and to assassinate Arabs and Muslims, blaming everything on them and accusing them of terrorism.
As Egyptian Foreign Minister Nabil al-Arabi put it, Egypt wants to “open a new page with all countries in the world,” Hamas’ Gaza included. Essentially, Egypt is rewarding Hamas for refusing to renounce terror and being unrepentant about its desire to destroy Israel.

The article below quotes Hamas leader Meshaal’s expectations about what this new relationship will mean:

Al-Ahram — Meshaal: Egypt is Dealing with Hamas in a New Wind
The president of the political bureau of the Hamas Movement, Khaled Meshaal, expressed that the breakthrough that occurred in the subject of Palestinian reconciliation was the overriding of the sensitivity of the previous Egyptian leadership and the Fatah movement.
That was indicated by the remarks of Hamas on the texts of the Egyptian paper. When this sensitivity was overcome and they listened to the remarks of the movement and reached common understandings, that achieved the reconciliation.
In his meeting with a number of Egyptian editors and journalists, Meshaal said that Egypt is dealing in a new wind with Hamas because its responsibility now is different after the revolution. He hopes to see this spirit in the negotiations with Israel, the subject of the Rafah crossing, and also in its management of enforcing the reconciliation agreement. He added that in the recovery of Egypt, we are observing its influence on us as Palestinians.
Concerning the role of the previous director of Egyptian intelligence Omar Suleiman in the reconciliation, Meshaal explained that Suleiman was the one who was protecting the subject of reconciliation and he represents the Egyptian leadership. He pointed out that the Hamas movement agreed with some of the things in the previous Egyptian accord, but differed on others. He said: “We are looking to Egypt now, hoping that Egypt is prepared to face the Zionist danger at the strategic level. Tactically, it is the right of Egypt to take its time to restore its well-being and build up its economy and development, so that it lives with natural condition to be able to develop political tools.
Meshaal asserted that the Arab effort was present in the reconciliation and its caring, indicating in the same context that Syria has a role, as well as Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, and Jordan. The Arabs collectively have had a role in the Palestinian reconciliation at different stages, in addition to Egypt, of course, which is the base and has given the biggest effort.
Meshaal stressed the need to open the Rafah crossing, the rebuilding of Gaza, protecting the Palestinian reconciliation, in addition to the tactical course which he talked about before. Today, Egypt and the support of the Arab nation can protect and provide a safety net for the Palestinian people. This is because Egypt is the mother of the Arabs, and she is the leader and pioneer. She is free and has democracy and the ability to play a pivotal role.

Newsweek-CNN’s Fareed Zakaria regularly advising Obama (video)

The signs were there two years ago as we questioned in this post, Obama planning post American world.
Is Obama formulating his foreign policy from a book? A book written by a Muslim from India who believes the U.S. is past its prime and in demise? It sure seems that way. Maybe that is the section he so diligently saved while walking on the tarmac, which appears to be one of the first chapters, possibly Chapter 3 entitled “A Non-Western World?”. ~ Creeping Sharia

Confirmation via Huffington Post:

CNN’s Fareed Zakaria admitted on Thursday that he has been having regular discussions with President Obama about national security and foreign policy.
Asked by Eliot Spitzer on Thursday’s “In The Arena” if Obama has been calling him up lately, Zakaria said, “mostly it’s been face-to-face meetings…usually organized by Tom Donilon, the national security adviser.”

He said Obama was spending a lot of time “thinking about the issues of the Arab Spring,” and added, “it’s been a very thoughtful conversation. You know, we’ll see where it goes.”

The complicity of the media has been exposed before, but the disgraced Eliot Spitzer and Fareed Zakaria make no effort to hide their loyalty heading into the 2012 election. Did Zakaria advise Obama to kill Mohmar Gadhafi? Because it wasn’t too long ago Zakaria was pimping Gadhafi in the U.S. (Libya recruited Fareed Zakaria to help Gadhafi’s image in U.S.).

In public statement, TSA lies about the Constitution

by Michael Boldin

Round two of the battle for travel freedom is well underway.

The first round, which garnered national attention in the fall of 2010, focused primarily on the TSA implementing new procedures…pat downs, body scanners….and the public outcry against it….boycotts, protests, calling congress to demand change.

But, as the public response failed to stop the scanners and searches, round two has moved to state legislatures around the country. Most prominently, Texas, where the state house just passed a bill banning TSA searches without probable cause. Click here to read the Tenth Amendment Center’s report on the bill.
This time, the TSA is on the defensive, and published an official statement about the Texas bill on their blog:
What’s our take on the Texas House of Representatives voting to ban the current TSA pat-down? Well, the Supremacy Clause of the U.S. Constitution (Article. VI. Clause 2) prevents states from regulating the federal government.
The problem here? The statement is false. Ignorance from the TSA is unlikely, so I’ll call a spade a spade. They’re lying.

The supremacy clause says nothing of the sort. Here’s the full text:
This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States which shall be made in pursuance thereof; and all treaties made, or which shall be made, under the authority of the United States, shall be the supreme law of the land; and the judges in every state shall be bound thereby, anything in the constitution or laws of any state to the contrary notwithstanding.
So, in simple terms, what does the supremacy clause mean? Just what it says. The constitution is supreme. And any federal laws made in line with the constitution is supreme. Nothing more, nothing less.
Notice there’s not one single word in the actual text that says anything about states regulating the federal government as the TSA claims. They’re just making things up as they go.

SUPREMACY CLAUSE EXAMPLES

In the constitution, The federal government is authorized to establish post offices. So if a state tried to establish their own, which would put it into conflict with the federal post office, the supremacy clause would rule that the state was in the wrong.

On the other hand, the first amendment says, in part, that congress shall not make laws restricting free speech. So, if a state law was established to give extra protection to the free speech rights of people in the state, and the federal government tried to restrict that freedom with an agency action, regulation, or law, the Feds would be in the wrong.

Why? Because the federal law restricting free speech would not be “in pursuance of” the constitution. And, as stated above, it’s the constitution, not all federal laws, which are supreme. The only federal laws which are supreme are constitutional ones.

THE 4TH HASN’T BEEN REPEALED

Federal searches, as the 4th amendment makes clear, have certain requirements. Probable cause is one of them. Here’s the text of the 4th:
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized
There is no wiggle room here. No warrants shall issue. None. The 4th amendment doesn’t offer any exceptions. Period.

INTERPOSITION

So, when the federal government doesn’t follow such straightforward rules, what should be done? In the Virginia Resolution of 1798, James Madison explained the role of the states in such a situation. He wrote:
That this Assembly doth explicitly and peremptorily declare, that it views the powers of the federal government, as resulting from the compact, to which the states are parties; as limited by the plain sense and intention of the instrument constituting the compact; as no further valid that they are authorized by the grants enumerated in that compact; and that in case of a deliberate, palpable, and dangerous exercise of other powers, not granted by the said compact, the states who are parties thereto, have the right, and are in duty bound, to interpose for arresting the progress of the evil, and for maintaining within their respective limits, the authorities, rights and liberties appertaining to them. [emphasis added]
So, when the federal government violates your rights by refusing to abide by the limits put on it in the constitution, it’s you state’s duty to stand up and do it instead.

The verdict? Texas is in the right, and more states should join in now. The TSA…not even close.

*******

What’s the next lie that the TSA will tell us? Not sure, but from this one, it might be something just as absurd, like…”the 1st amendment says that states can’t interfere with TSA restrictions on complaints during wartime.”

The kicker here is that under the founders’ vision for the constitution – where the federal government is authorized to exercise only those powers delegated to it….and nothing more – the TSA wouldn’t even exist. For an unconstitutional agency to lie about Constitutional matters is beyond absurd, and it must be stopped. Other states are considering bills like in Texas – and sources close to the Tenth Amendment Center tell us to expect at least 10 or more to do so in 2012.

A Templars Mission (as our own)

The World has entered a new phase in human history with Moslem’s soldiers on the march across the entire Globe, seeking to conquer our lands and take our civilized World back into the ‘Dark Ages’ under the suppressive dark demonic force of Islam.

The call… for Holy war against non-Moslem’s has gone out to the entire Islamic world and is being answered with Moslem’s around the world uniting as a global ‘Islamic Religious army’, rising up against the entire non-Moslem world.

They are seeking for the total destruction of our Judeo/Christian way of life so that they can enforce Allah’s will – ‘Islam’ upon the World. Their aim is to conquer our lands, enforce Islamic Law (Sharia law) upon our Nations and take our wives and children as their ‘spoils of war’.

France where the founding fathers of the Knights Templar’s arose from is in a state of civil strife with Moslem’s encamped within their land rising up seeking to dominate the landscape of this part of Europe.

People commenting on the situation in France have called it a civil war or ‘intifada’ (uprising).  The darkness from Hell in the embodiment of Islam casts a heinous shadow across the entire globe. It is now time for us the civilized people of this world to stand up and let the light that shines in us and upon our lands shine brightly through us the non-Moslem people of the world and stamp out that darkness that engulfs our way of life and our futures.

Our lands, our wives and our children need protecting from the invading Moslem armies encamped upon our shores. Now is the time to look up, humble ourselves and pray calling out to Our God for help and protection for the days that lay ahead. He is the only one who can hold back the dark murderous shadow of Islam that engulfs us all.

I pray that now will be the start, that those who know they have been chosen by God will arise from amongst the people so we can stand together and that those not yet called will accept and embrace the call when it comes.

We die together as Christian brothers and sisters in protection of the Christian and Jewish world, for the future of our people.   In service of the King – Jesus – The Lion of the Tribe of Judah.
