More sharia in Dearborn: Prosecutors file complaint to prevent Koran-burning pastor’s mosque rally

Dearborn is rapidly becoming a place where freedom of speech is not permitted for non-Muslims, and where police, prosecutors and judges enforce Islamic sharia law. via Prosecutors seek to stop rally outside Dearborn mosque by Florida pastor | Detroit Free Press

Concerned about a potential outbreak of violence, Wayne County prosecutors have filed a complaint in court that seeks to compel Florida pastor Terry Jones — who oversaw the burning of a Quran last month — not to rally outside an Islamic center in Dearborn this week.

Jones told the Free Press he intends to come to Dearborn this Friday with others to protest against sharia and jihad, Islamic ideas that he said threaten the U.S.

But Dearborn police and Wayne County prosecutors are trying to convince him that showing up at the Islamic Center of America would endanger his life and public peace. In the court filing, prosecutors and Dearborn police note that Jones has received numerous death threats and a $1.2 million bounty on his head by leaders of Jamaat-ud Dawa, a cover organization for the Pakistan-based terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Tayyiba.

Do they have members in Dearborn? Or are other members of the religion of peace the concern?

Filed Friday in 19th district court in Dearborn, prosecutors say that if Jones shows up outside the center, “the greatest danger is the likelihood of a riot ensuing complete with the discharge of firearms.”

So prosecutors fear that Muslims will riot and shoot protesters, but instead of planning on enforcing the law in Dearborn, they file a complain to prevent free speech?

Muslim leader Dawud Walid, head of the Michigan branch of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, criticized the filing, saying it actually aids Jones’ cause.

Walid said he disagrees with prosecutors because “their action innocently played into Jones’ objectives, which is to paint Dearborn as a pro-sharia city that’s oppressing Christians, which is of course not true.”

Walid also said that the court filing inaccurately tries to “equate the actions of zealots in Afghanistan with Muslim-Americans in Dearborn,” which he described as a peaceful community that would not harm Jones.

The court action, considered rare, is called in the filing a “verified complaint to institute proceedings to prevent crime.”

A court date for Jones to appear has been set for Thursday before Dearborn District Judge Mark Sommers.

From legal jihad waged by the prosecutor to the stealth jihad’s favorite reporter – who ran to terror-linked CAIR for comment. Oddly enough, CAIR confirms Dearborn’s image of a pro-sharia city is well-earned.

And Warikoo coyly under-reports on the rioting and murderous rampage by Muslims after Jones’ Koran-burning.

After Jones helped lead a Quran-burning last month in Florida, several UN workers were killed in Afghanistan at the hands of outraged Muslim protestors.

Several UN workers? CBS’ headline, Afghans kill 11 from UN after U.S. Quran burning.
And days later, Two Afghan police killed, 20 wounded in Koran burning protests:

Two policemen were killed and more than 30 people wounded in the southern city of Kandahar on Sunday during the third day of protests across Afghanistan against the burning of a Koran by a militant fundamentalist Christian U.S. pastor, officials said.

Violence at earlier demonstrations claimed more than 20 lives. Ten people were killed and more than 80 wounded in Kandahar on Saturday. Seven foreign U.N. staff and five Afghan protesters were killed on Friday after demonstrators overran an office in normally peaceful Mazar-i-Sharif city in the north.

Dearborn police and prosecutors didn’t have a problem with Muslims burning effigies of Florida pastor Terry Jones, but that is the nature of Islamic sharia law.

The Freep article mentions another so-called anti-sharia group that quickly succumbed to the whims of Dearbornistan – out of respect for the Christian community. Sounds like someones been had by Chief Haddad. Will Jones relent as well?
